DETAILS, FICTION AND GESTATION PERIOD FOR SWAN EGGS

I am no pro on swans. I somewhat feel that an evening-time predator filched the eggs. I've read folks mention that their birds( chickens, geese, regardless of what) eliminate infertile or nonviable eggs from their nest.
